First, I can’t forget to share this photo today of my team mate.
This month, one lucky winner will receive a medium, Urban Peasant neckwear in Slate, as shown in today’s Dressember photo. This piece is knit with 100% merino wool that is hand-spun and kettle-dyed and has a $45 value! (*will come with a similar cuff to the one in the photo).
I have never done this before and am going to keep things simple. So, there a few ways you can enter this giveaway:
Easy Entry – share what you like about Dressember – just leave a comment stating something you like about this campaign based on what you know so far.
Optional additional entries (you can do none or all of these – leave a separate comment for each entry):
1. Participate in Dressember – get on over there and sign up to participate by wearing a dress each day for the rest of December. Leave a comment letting me know, with a link to your campaign page.
2. Donate to Dressember – head over to my campaign page and make a donation to this cause. Leave a comment letting me know.
3. Learn more about Dressember and IJM – visit this link and explore the IJM site to learn more about their work. Leave a comment that shares something meaningful you learned. You don’t have to stay on that page – explore their site as you please.
This is largely based on the honour system and I will choose a winner from the comments using a random number generator. Good luck and thanks for supporting this great cause!
Giveaway ends Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 12pm CST. Open to Legal Residents (18 years of age or older) of Canada. Winner will be selected by random number generator and be notified by email. Winner will have 48 hours to respond before a new winner is selected. The product offered for the giveaway is free of charge, no purchase necessary.
The GIVEWAY is now CLOSED. Thank you! I will contact the winner via email.
The winner is Michelle:
I like this event because it’s for a great cause. I love hearing about people being set free! (we are part of a team – the DELTA team – with Exodus Road that works to rescue victims of sex trafficking.https://www.theexodusroad.com/). I want to see/hear so much more! It’s unreal to me that in this point of history, there is more slavery than ever before. And the amount of abuse people are living through, every day, is absolutely heartbreaking. Events like this are good because there still is a need to raise awareness about the injustices happening in the world. Some people just don’t know. And some people still don’t get it.
